It all started with the word ART

Hope Art began in 2009 in Mongu, Zambia as a small workshop with a simple idea: to give women dignified work and bring hope to families in need. We strive to ensure guilt-free shopping that uplifts women in Southern Africa and brings hope to families in need. Our mission is simple: to make a difference!

Hope Art is a ministry of Hope Family and Zambia Project. Today, twelve ladies make their living between our two workshops in Mongu, Zambia and George, South Africa. 100% of profits go back into bringing hope to families in need: food, clean water, a place to be safe and HOPE.

Hand-crafted by them.

All twelve of our ladies, between Mongu and George. We are proud to share their work and their names.

Slowly, by hand.

From a page to a finished piece, the small beads that built our story.

01. Cut & Roll

Each bead begins as a strip of recycled paper, carefully cut and rolled by hand.

02. Varnish

A protective coat of varnish seals and strengthens each bead for lasting beauty and making it semi-waterproof.

03. Design

Our ladies arrange beads into unique patterns, creating one-of-a-kind pieces.

04. Finished

The design is brought to life, ready to go out and bring hope to your home and theirs.
